Ghanaian winger Zubairu Ibrahim paid a courtesy visit to King Faisal bankroller Alhaji Gruzah at his Adukrom residence during the Christmas break.

The 20-year-old took time out of his busy schedule to check up on the veteran football administrator, showcasing his appreciation for the role Alhaji Gruzah played in his early career.

Zubairu’s journey to prominence began at King Faisal, where he spent two seasons honing his skills before joining Serbian side Jedinstvo in the 2023/2024 season.

His impressive performances earned him a move to Serbian giants, Partizan FC, where he currently plies his trade.

A leader on and off the pitch, Zubairu captained the Ghana National U-20 team and was also a member of the Ghana National U-23 team. His dedication to his craft and commitment to giving back to his community are qualities that have endeared him to fans and admirers alike.

In a gesture that highlights his loyalty to his former club, Zubairu is expected to be in attendance at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday, cheering on King Faisal as they host Bekwai Heroes in the Division One League.
