“I’m the happiest man in the world right now” – Samuel Boadu

Berekum Chelsea head coach, Samuel Boadu, has expressed his pleasure after his team’s 2-1 victory over Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

The former Hearts Of Oak coach applaud his team’s performance, especially after stunning Kotoko, who entered the game on a three-game unbeaten streak.

Despite conceding an early goal from Steven Mukwala, Chelsea staged a remarkable comeback with Stephen Amankona converting a penalty in the 41st minute and Mizack Afriyie sealing the win with a header in the 96th minute.

“I would like to say that (I’m the happiest man in the world right now) because it’s not easy,” Boadu expressed. “What I have gone through since coming here and beating Kotoko, I know it’s a plus and I’m really really happy for that.”

Chelsea will play against Accra Great Olympics next on Sunday, May 26 in Accra.
