Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon has expressed his desire to win the MTN FA Cup as head coach when his side face Nations FC in Sunday’s final.
The University of Ghana Stadium will host the decisive clash as Dreams chase a second FA Cup crown in the club’s history.
Dormon was part of the technical bench when Dreams lifted the trophy in the 2022/23 campaign under former coach Abdul Karim Zito.
Having now taken charge of the team, the former Dreams player hopes to inspire another memorable cup run and return the club to continental football.
“We won it, the FA Cup, at Abrankese, and it was very intriguing. The dynamics are very different now, and I will be very happy to lead this group to win this competition,” Dormon stated.
Dreams FC reached the final after overcoming Medeama in the semi-finals and will come up against a Nations FC side hoping to end a disappointing season with silverware after their relegation from the Ghana Premier League.
