Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has called on Ghanaians to continue supporting and praying for the national team as preparations intensify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Leicester City forward delivered the heartfelt message from the team’s training base in Providence, Rhode Island, where Ghana is putting the finishing touches on its build-up to the tournament.
Having arrived from Virginia earlier this week, the Black Stars have settled into camp and are combining training sessions with community outreach activities as excitement builds ahead of their opening match.
Issahaku emphasized the importance of fan support, expressing gratitude for the encouragement the team has received throughout its journey to the World Cup.
“My message to Ghanaians is just that I want to tell them to keep supporting us and keep praying for us. We’ll be here working hard to make them proud,” he said.
