Ghana’s Black Princesses will today learn the opponents they will face at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup when the tournament draw is conducted in Poland.
The official ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 15 at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Łódź, one of the host cities chosen for this year’s competition.
In addition to Łódź, matches during the tournament will also be staged in Bielsko-Biała, Katowice and Sosnowiec.
The Black Princesses are among 24 countries that successfully booked qualification for the global event and will now await confirmation of their group-stage opponents ahead of the competition.
This year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be played between September 5 and September 27, with teams from across the world battling for youth football’s biggest prize.
Ghana sealed qualification for the tournament after overcoming Uganda 3-2 on aggregate during the playoffs, securing the nation’s eighth appearance at the competition.
