Hearts coach Ouattara blames ‘Dumsor’ for defeat to Legon Cities

Hearts of Oak coach Abubakar Ouattara attributed their defeat to Legon Cities to difficulties encountered during their preparations.

The team suffered a 2-0 loss against The Royals at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu during Matchday 27, with Albert Yeboah scoring both goals in the second half.

Disappointed fans expressed their frustration after the match, prompting Ouattara to address their concerns about the team’s recent poor performance.

He appealed for patience and understanding, emphasizing the limited resources available to him and the team.

Ouattara also revealed the challenging pre-match conditions the team faced, including a lack of electricity and water at their hotel the day before the game.

“Yesterday at the hotel, we did not have electricity or water,” he disclosed, shedding light on the challenges faced by the team even before stepping onto the pitch.

Despite the setback, Hearts of Oak sit in 11th place with 35 points, five points clear of the relegation zone.

They will look to bounce back in their upcoming Matchday 28 game against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
