VIDEO: Former Hearts trainer eric Amponsah appointed goalkeepers coach by Sudan

The Sudanese Football Association (SFA) has announced Eric Amponsah as the latest addition to their coaching staff, appointing him as the goalkeepers coach for their senior national team. Amponsah steps into this role following the resignation of Fatau Dauda, who has recently accepted a similar position with Ghana’s Black Stars.

Amponsah, a respected figure in Ghanaian football circles, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Prior to his appointment, he served as the goalkeepers coach for Berekum Chelsea, where he played an instrumental role in developing talent and honing the skills of aspiring goalkeepers.

His journey in football coaching has seen him work with esteemed clubs such as Berekum Chelsea, Medeama SC and Hearts of Oak, where he earned a reputation for his dedication and commitment to excellence.

Joining forces with head coach Kwasi Appiah and assistant Ignatius Osei Fosu, Amponsah is poised to make a significant impact on Sudanese football, contributing his knowledge and expertise to the development of the national team’s goalkeeping department.
