The West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku recently welcomed Philippe Tchere as the new Executive Director. The meeting took place at the WAFU Secretariat in Ivory Coast, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the organization’s leadership.
President Simeon-Okraku expressed his delight at having Tchere join the WAFU Zone B team, emphasizing the importance of his role in steering the organization towards greater heights.

Tchere’s appointment comes as he takes over the reins from the experienced Boureima Balima, whose contributions to WAFU Zone B are widely acknowledged and appreciated.
