Young Ghanaian Football Stars Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim and Jalal Abdulai Support Ghanaian Legend Amusa Gbadamosi

In a heartwarming show of appreciation and support, Ghanaian footballers Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim and Jalal Abdulai have come together to honor the legacy of Ghanaian football icon Amusa Gbadamosi. The two players recently presented Gbadamosi with a generous cash gift and essential provisions, recognizing his contributions to Ghanaian football.

The gesture goes beyond a one-time donation, as Ibrahim and Abdulai have pledged to provide Gbadamosi with a monthly allowance to ensure he has consistent financial support. This commitment reflects their dedication to honoring the past heroes who paved the way for today’s generation of players.

As an additional tribute, the duo has organized an ongoing football tournament in Gbadamosi’s honor, celebrating his incredible career and legacy. Gbadamosi, a former star for Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, was a member of the Black Stars squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 1965. He also represented Ghana at the 1968 Olympics, marking him as one of the nation’s esteemed football legends.

Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim, currently playing for Suzhou Dongwu in China, and Jalal Abdulai, who plays for Elfsborg in Sweden, have set a remarkable example of how younger players can give back to the icons who laid the foundation of Ghanaian football. Their act of kindness and respect for Gbadamosi’s legacy has been met with admiration and gratitude from the Ghanaian football community.
