Teenage sensation Aziz Issah has earned his first-ever call-up to the senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana, following a string of outstanding performances with the Black Satellites.
The talented midfielder, who saw a standout performance in the U20 AFCON with the Black Satellites caught the attention of the national team selectors with his consistency, creativity, and maturity on the ball despite his young age.
Aziz’s inclusion in the Black Stars squad for the Unity Cup Tournament to be played in the UK is seen as a reward for his impressive development and an opportunity for Ghana to harness fresh talent as the team prepares for its upcoming international assignments.
The Barcelona B youngster staged an outstanding performance for the Black Satellites during the 13th African Games as well as for Dreams FC during the 2024 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Aziz emerged the joint top-scorer in that year’s CAF Confederation Cup as well as a nominee as the Best Player of the competition.
