Andre Ayew Celebrates NAC Breda’s Consecutive Eredivisie Wins

Ghana forward Andre Ayew has shared his excitement after helping NAC Breda secure successive victories in the Eredivisie.

The experienced attacker played the full 90 minutes as NAC edged past FC Volendam in their Matchweek 24 encounter at the Rat Verlegh Stadion on Saturday. The narrow triumph marked the club’s second straight league win, a timely boost in their fight to avoid relegation.

Ayew has featured from start to finish in both recent victories, highlighting his growing importance since arriving during the winter transfer window. Interestingly, the club had not managed back-to-back league wins since December 2024 prior to this recent run.

Taking to Instagram after the match, the former Olympique de Marseille, West Ham United and Swansea City forward praised the team’s unity while quickly turning attention to their upcoming fixture against Telstar.

“Back-to-back wins. The stadium was electric. One team, one family. Now we focus on Friday,” he posted.

NAC currently sit just above the relegation zone with 22 points from 24 matches. Since joining the Dutch side, Ayew has made seven league appearances and is still searching for his first goal contribution, but his leadership and experience appear to be playing a key role in the club’s renewed momentum.
