Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has been honoured with the Young Player of the Month award for February in the Danish Superliga, recognising his impressive performances for FC Nordsjælland.
The 20-year-old midfielder played a key role in Nordsjælland’s unbeaten run during the month, contributing a goal and an assist across three matches. Beyond his direct goal involvements, Yirenkyi was praised for his energy, positional awareness, and commanding presence in the heart of midfield, where he consistently helped dictate the tempo of games.
So far this season, Yirenkyi has featured in all 21 league matches for his club, averaging approximately 86 minutes per appearance. His growing influence in the squad is reflected in his overall statistical output, which includes two goals and five assists in the league campaign.
With the upcoming March international friendly matches approaching, the young midfielder is widely expected to be considered for inclusion in the Ghana national football team squad as the team prepares for its next set of assignments.
