Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso has expressed great satisfaction after his side secured a commanding 3-0 win over Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Friday evening.
The two sides met at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in a Week 25 encounter of the ongoing 2025/26 top-flight campaign, with the hosts producing a dominant display to claim maximum points.
Nations FC took control of the game early and made their chances count, with Emmanuel Annor opening the scoring before Brandon Antwi added the second. Richard Danso later sealed the victory to complete an impressive performance for the home side.
Speaking after the match, Manso praised his players for their performance and highlighted the team’s growing confidence in front of goal in recent games.
According to the Nations FC trainer, his side managed the first half well by controlling possession and dictating the pace of the game, which allowed them to establish a comfortable lead before the break.
“I think in the first half we took control and controlled the game. We had two goals, and in the second half they also came into the midfield and tried to play. All the same, it’s a good scoreline, but we need to know when to go for a goal and when to hold onto the ball,” he said.
He also pointed to the team’s recent improvement in scoring, noting that Nations FC netted twice in their previous match and followed it up with three goals against Bechem United.
The victory lifts Nations FC to eighth place on the Ghana Premier League table, leaving them just six points shy of the top four as they continue their push up the standings.
