Francis Abu has expressed gratitude to his Black Stars teammates after visiting camp in Stuttgart during his recovery.
Currently based in France, the midfielder made the trip ahead of Ghana’s friendly against Germany national football team to personally thank his colleagues for their support following his injury setback.
“They showed me support during these hard times. I received a lot of text messages and phone calls,” Abu said.
“I thought it was important to come and see them, say thank you, and support them in this important game.”
Despite admitting he remembers little about the injury incident itself, Abu remains focused on returning stronger and rejoining the national team setup ahead of the World Cup.
