Prince Yaw Owusu expressed satisfaction with his team’s effort despite Asante Kotoko being held to a goalless draw by Aduana FC in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors travelled to Dormaa for the Week 27 clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, where both sides battled intensely but failed to find a breakthrough.
Speaking after the match, Owusu praised his players’ commitment, insisting the point gained was valuable in a tightly contested title race.
“Although we didn’t win, I think the boys did their best, and their best has given us the one point. We appreciate that more than losing it all,” he said.
The result keeps Kotoko third on the table with 43 points, just ahead of Aduana, who sit fifth with 42 points.
With only a narrow gap separating the top teams, the Ghana Premier League title race remains wide open as the season heads into its decisive stages.
