Ghanaian youngster David Oduro has been sidelined for up to three weeks after suffering an injury while featuring for Barça Atlètic.
The 19-year-old left-back sustained a muscular injury to the adductor of his left leg, ruling him out of the remaining two matches of the season.
In a statement, the club confirmed the extent of the injury and expected recovery timeline.
“Barça Atlètic player David Oduro has a muscular injury in the adductor of his left leg. The estimated recovery time will be between two and three weeks,” the club announced.
The former Accra Lions defender has been an important figure for the youth side this season, making 21 appearances while contributing a goal and an assist.
Oduro’s impressive performances also earned him an invitation to train with the senior team under Hansi Flick, highlighting his rapid development since joining the Spanish club.
Having signed a three-year deal in 2024, the young defender continues to build his career in Spain, and will now focus on recovery as he looks to return stronger ahead of next season.
