Turkish giants Trabzonspor have joined a growing list of clubs chasing Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old winger has been one of the standout performers this season, registering nine goals and seven assists despite a difficult campaign for Leicester City.
His form has sparked widespread interest across Europe, with Everton FC, Sunderland AFC and Leeds United all reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
Although Fatawu remains under contract with Leicester until 2029, the club’s relegation to League One has intensified speculation over his future, with several teams looking to capitalise on the situation.
Trabzonspor are the latest to enter the race, as they seek to strengthen their attacking options with one of Africa’s most promising young talents.
A move away from Leicester now appears increasingly likely, with Fatawu keen to continue competing at a higher level as his development accelerates.
His consistent performances have also put him firmly in contention for a place in the Ghana national football team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he is expected to play a key role if selected.
