Former agent of Mohammed Kudus, Jennifer Mendelewitsch, has opened up on their professional split, offering a candid perspective on how their relationship came to an end.
In a revealing statement, Mendelewitsch explained that the decision came as their working term was nearing its conclusion, with both sides reflecting on whether to continue together.
“We were coming to the end of our term, and as we always do, we asked ourselves: do we continue on our path together or not?” she said.
However, she pointed to external influences as a key factor in the outcome, suggesting that family pressure played a decisive role in Kudus’ decision.
“I understood perfectly that his family was exerting pressure on him to say ‘no,’ and he submitted to it,” she added.
The agent did not hide her disappointment, describing the situation as unfortunate while insisting that the player may be facing the consequences of that choice.
“Honestly, it’s a shame. He is the one being punished the most in this story… Well, I’m sorry, but you punished yourself. It’s a shame, but that’s life,” she stated.
Mendelewitsch also referenced the current struggles of Tottenham Hotspur, noting that the club’s situation is unfamiliar territory for Kudus.
