Bechem United FC produced a clinical display to secure a 3-1 victory over Eleven Wonders FC in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 31 opener at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
The visitors made a flying start, with Augustine Okrah opening the scoring inside two minutes with a simple finish. He doubled the lead just 20 minutes later, again from close range, taking his season tally to 13 goals.
Eleven Wonders showed brief resistance and managed to pull one back through Eden Kofi Asamoah, but their hopes were short-lived as Isaiah Nyarko restored Bechem’s two-goal advantage to seal the win.
The result extends Eleven Wonders winless streak to 11 matches, leaving them bottom of the table with just 10 points as their relegation fears deepen.
Bechem United, meanwhile, climb to ninth place with 50 points and will look to maintain their momentum in their next fixture against Dreams FC.
