Basake Holy Stars Host Dreams FC in Final-Day Battle for Strong Finish

Basake Holy Stars will look to end their debut Ghana Premier League campaign on a high when they host Dreams FC at the AAK II Sports Arena on Sunday.

With both sides already safe from relegation, the final-day clash presents an opportunity for each club to secure a strong finish and improve their position in the league standings.

Basake Holy Stars head into the encounter sitting 11th with 46 points, just three behind Dreams FC, who occupy sixth place ahead of the final round of matches.

A victory for the hosts could see them close the gap and potentially finish the campaign level on points with the “Still Believe” lads.

Holy Stars have been particularly impressive at home throughout the season and will enter Sunday’s fixture with confidence after going unbeaten in their last 12 league matches at the AAK II Sports Arena.

Coach Rashad Musah’s side have built a reputation as one of the toughest home teams in the league, with their consistency on home soil playing a major role in securing survival comfortably.

Dreams FC, meanwhile, arrive in high spirits after producing one of the standout results of the previous round with an impressive 3-1 victory over Bibiani Gold Stars FC.

That result not only strengthened Dreams’ push for a top-half finish but also confirmed Medeama SC as Ghana Premier League champions.

After struggling during the early stages of the season, Dreams FC recovered strongly under coach Winfred Dorman and now have the opportunity to cap off the campaign with consecutive victories.

However, their away form remains a concern heading into the trip to Basake, having managed only two wins on the road all season.

With both teams eager to finish positively and maintain momentum heading into next season, supporters can expect a competitive and entertaining final-day encounter.
