Aduana FC have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season with the signing of midfielder Shawkan Mohammed on a long-term deal.
The 23-year-old joins the Dormaa-based club as a free agent after ending his spell with Tunisian giants Club Africain, where he struggled for regular playing time.
The Ogya Boys confirmed the signing on social media, describing Shawkan as an important addition as they continue to reinforce the squad for the new campaign.
Shawkan returns to the Ghana Premier League after a stint abroad, having previously established himself as one of Accra Lions’ key midfielders. During his three seasons with the club, he made 68 league appearances after arriving from Koowa Naso FC in 2021.
His impressive displays earned him a move to Club Africain in 2024 on a three-year contract, but both parties agreed to part ways earlier this year following limited opportunities with the Tunisian side.
Now back in Ghana, Shawkan will be aiming to rediscover his best form and help Aduana FC challenge for honours in the upcoming season as the two-time league champions continue to reshape their squad.
