The Black Stars of Ghana have been drawn in Group C of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia and Somalia.
The qualifiers are scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, as teams across the continent battle for places at the tournament, which will be staged from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
Ghana will face a tough challenge in Group C, particularly against reigning African giants Côte d’Ivoire, while Gambia and Somalia will also be aiming to cause surprises in the race for qualification.
According to the qualification schedule, Matchdays 1 and 2 will be played between September and October 2026, while Matchdays 3 and 4 are set for November 2026. The final round of games, Matchdays 5 and 6, will take place in March 2027.
The Black Stars will be hoping to secure a return to the continental tournament with strong performances throughout the campaign as they missed the last edition
