England Receive Major Boost as Bukayo Saka Returns to Training Ahead of Ghana Clash

England have received a significant fitness boost ahead of their crucial FIFA World Cup Group L encounter against Ghana after winger Bukayo Saka returned to full training with the squad.

The Arsenal star had raised concerns within the England camp after failing to complete Saturday’s session with the rest of the squad, instead undertaking individual training as he continued to manage an Achilles tendinitis issue.

However, Saka was back training normally with his teammates during Sunday’s penultimate session before Tuesday’s showdown in Boston, providing head coach Thomas Tuchel with a timely boost.

The 24-year-old has been dealing with the injury for several months and started England’s opening 4-2 victory over Croatia on the bench as part of efforts to carefully manage his workload.

Despite concerns surrounding his fitness, reports indicate that the Achilles problem has not worsened since the end of the domestic season, where Saka played a key role in helping Arsenal secure their first Premier League title in 22 years.

His return to training increases the likelihood of his involvement against Ghana in what is expected to be one of the standout matches of the group stage.

England and Ghana both opened their World Cup campaigns with victories and know that another win could put them in a commanding position to qualify for the knockout rounds.

For Thomas Tuchel, having one of his most dangerous attacking players available could prove decisive as the Three Lions prepare to face a confident Black Stars side led by Carlos Queiroz.
