Holy Stars, Aduana FC Eye Response in Midweek Showdown

Basake Holy Stars FC and Aduana FC will both be aiming to return to winning ways when they meet in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture at the AAK II Sports Arena.

Holy Stars come into the game looking to recover from a 3-1 defeat to FC Samartex 1996, a result that extended their winless run to two matches. Currently 10th on the table with 30 points, they will be targeting a victory to push into the top half.

Their strong home form offers encouragement, with just one defeat at the AAK II Sports Arena all season. That resilience at home could prove crucial as they seek to bounce back.

Aduana FC, meanwhile, are also in search of a response after being held to a goalless draw by Heart of Lions FC. Sitting fifth with 46 points, the ‘Fire Boys’ remain in contention for a top-four finish despite falling off the title pace.

However, they face a stern test against a disciplined Holy Stars side that has been difficult to break down on home soil. Aduana will need greater attacking sharpness if they are to secure a positive result on the road.

With both teams eager to respond and chase their respective ambitions, Wednesday’s clash promises to be a competitive and tightly contested affair.
