“I’m Proud to Be Part of the Ogya Family” – Shawkan Mohammed Reacts After Aduana FC Move

New Aduana FC signing Shawkan Mohammed has expressed his excitement after completing a move to the Ghana Premier League club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Dormaa-based side on a long-term contract as a free agent following his departure from Tunisian giants Club Africain.

Speaking after his official unveiling, Shawkan described his move to the two-time Ghana Premier League champions as a proud moment and pledged to help the club achieve success.

“I’m proud to be part of the Ogya family. Together, let’s achieve great success on and off the field,” he said.

Shawkan returns to the Ghana Premier League after a spell in Tunisia, where he struggled for regular playing time despite signing a three-year contract with Club Africain in 2024.

Before his move abroad, the midfielder enjoyed an impressive rise with Accra Lions, making 68 appearances across three seasons after joining from Koowa Naso FC in September 2021.

Following the mutual termination of his contract with Club Africain earlier this year, Shawkan opted for a return to Ghana, with Aduana FC moving swiftly to secure his signature.

The midfielder is expected to add creativity and energy to Aduana’s engine room as the Ogya Boys strengthen their squad for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, where they will be aiming to challenge for major honours.
