“We’re Working on Our Finishing” – Prince Owusu Targets Improvement Ahead of Samartex Clash

Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prince Yaw Owusu, has revealed that his team is focusing on improving their goal-scoring ahead of their Ghana Premier League clash with FC Samartex.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Owusu stressed that although his side has been finding the net, there is still room for improvement in their finishing.

“I think we’ve done a lot of them. We score a lot of goals, and the boys are still working on it to get better,” he said.

The coach disclosed that targeted training sessions have been introduced to sharpen the team’s attacking edge.

“When we meet Samartex, we have some drills for them today and tomorrow. I will prepare them for the game ahead of us,” he added.

Kotoko will be aiming to translate that work on the training ground into goals when they face Samartex in what promises to be a crucial encounter.

With kickoff set for 4:30 pm on Monday, April 6, Kotoko will be hoping their fans can play a key role in pushing the team to victory as the league campaign enters a decisive phase.
