Newly-promoted side Young Apostles put up an amazing performance on Sunday afternoon after a wild comeback to beat Aduana Stars 3-2 at the Wenchi Stadium.
The Ghana Premier League’s newbies, put on a show in to come from behind to beat Aduana Stars in dazzling fashion.
The Fire Boys took the lead in the 28 minutes when Mohammed Muftawu score the the opener for the host in the first half, but Emmanuel Marfo leveled on the 27 minutes.
However, Aduana Stars took the lead on the 43 minutes of the games which took the game on a 1-2 in favor of the visitors.
The second half was largely dominated by Asare Bediako’s men who came close to pulling the equaliser. But their efforts were denied by the face of the post.
However, on the 88th minutes, Apostles scored to make it 2-2 just before the end of full time leveled the game before scoring on the 90th minutes to win it all.
Young Apostles are now 8th with 5 points of the Premier League table after four matches, while Yaw Acheampong’s Aduana have slipped to 17th place with 2 points after suffering their second defeat of the season.
