Otto Addo Names 26-Man Squad for Austria and Germany Friendlies

Otto Addo has named a 26-man squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany during the FIFA international window.

The squad features four debutants who have earned their maiden call-ups to the Black Stars. These include Derrick Luckassen of Pafos FC, Marvin Senaya who plays for French side AJ Auxerre, Patrick Pfeiffer of SV Darmstadt 98, and Kocaelispor attacker Daniel Agyei.

Their inclusion highlights the coach’s intent to expand his squad depth and assess new talents ahead of major international assignments.

Ghana has been drawn into a tough group alongside England, Croatia and Panama ahead of the FIFA World Cup to be staged in the United States, Mexico and Canada. These friendlies are expected to serve as key preparations for the tournament.

The Black Stars will face Austria on March 27 in Vienna before taking on four-time world champions Germany on March 30 in Stuttgart.
