New Medeama SC signing Emmanuel Annor says completing his move to the Ghana Premier League champions is the fulfilment of a long-standing ambition after finally sealing his switch from Nations FC.
Speaking after signing his three-year contract, the winger revealed the transfer had almost happened two years ago before finally becoming a reality.
“I am incredibly happy to finally become a Medeama player. This move almost happened two years ago, so to finally be here is a dream fulfilled. I thank God, the management of Medeama and everyone who worked hard to make this transfer possible,” Annor said.
The 24-year-old also expressed his excitement about linking up with Medeama’s talented squad, highlighting Kelvin Nkrumah as one of the players he is eager to play alongside.
“I have admired what Medeama has built over the years, and I can’t wait to play alongside players like Kelvin Nkrumah. I believe together we can form one of the most exciting attacking partnerships in the league.”
Annor added that he is determined to help Medeama retain the Ghana Premier League title and enjoy a successful campaign in the CAF Champions League.
Before completing his move, the winger also paid tribute to Nations FC, thanking the club’s management, technical team, teammates and supporters for the role they played in his development and wishing them success in the future.
