The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with FIFA, has continued its Women’s Football Campaign with another impactful community outreach programme, this time reaching girls and young women in Tumu.
The initiative focused on promoting health and well-being by equipping participants with practical knowledge on key issues affecting young women. Sessions covered personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, general wellness and cervical cancer awareness, encouraging participants to make informed decisions about their health.

The outreach forms part of the GFA’s broader commitment to using football as a platform to create positive social change, particularly by empowering girls both on and off the pitch.

Through the FIFA-supported campaign, the Association continues to combine football development with education and community engagement, ensuring young women are provided with the tools and confidence to thrive in all aspects of life.

The GFA believes initiatives such as these will not only contribute to healthier communities but also inspire more girls to embrace football while building brighter futures through education, leadership and personal development.
